News released from the Organizers of World IC Card Summit 2007 was announced that Mr. Marc Kekicheff, Vice Chairman of Global Platform (GP) and SVP of Visa International has confirmed to make a keynote speech at the Summit and attend the China Payment Terminals Forum.
The Theme of the Summit is China Golden Card Projects Connecting East and West. This is the first grand-level meeting for all executives from the global smart card associations and the industrial vendors. The good responses from the leading associations and official bodies prove the successful achievements of China Golden Card Projects and impact over the world's arena, which has won the recognition and attentions of the global industry. The General Session of the Summit will be held at the National People's Congress Hall on May 28, 2007.
The Summit is expected to invite 500 delegates to attend from the global associations, the officials
of the Chinese ministries in charge of the Golden Cards users from home and abroad as well as the executives of the leading vendors, including chips, cards suppliers and POS terminals. They are coming to share the successful experiences and cases studies done in each of the countries, strengthen the global business contacts, mutually promote the opportunities of investment and technology. The discussions will be focused on the joint efforts in coordinating the work of smart card applications, standards, moreover, the issues are to be addressed on the mutual development of businesses, and exchanges of science and technology in the IC card industry from a global perspective.
